Niger Delta Innovate is a nonprofit organization helping children, young people and educators gain practical digital skills, STEM knowledge and technology opportunities.

We’re empowering 10,000 people with digital skills, creating 2,500 tech jobs, and building a thriving innovation ecosystem.
This is how communities step into the future.

Our Work In Action

We've worked with schools and communities to create practical opportunities for young people to learn digital technology and build skills for the future.

Through STEM and robotics activities, students have opportunities to build, experiment, solve problems and discover what they can create with technology.

Our programmes and events bring students, educators, families and community partners together around technology, learning and innovation.
We envision a Niger Delta where every young person has access to the knowledge, resources and opportunities needed to participate in the digital future.
We are working toward a future where technology education is accessible in more schools and communities, educators are equipped to teach it effectively, and young people have opportunities to turn what they learn into ideas, skills and possibilities.

Proof, Not Promises

The first robotics laboratory established in any secondary school in Rivers State, launched at Okrika Grammar School. This marks a pioneering step in bringing hands-on STEM and robotics education into public secondary schools across the region.

NDI students have represented their schools at major national platforms, including the SPE Science and Technology Exhibition and the National STEM Festival, competing alongside top-performing students from across Nigeria.

Over 11 partner schools across Rivers State and the wider Niger Delta are actively implementing NDI programmes, with new schools joining every academic term as demand for digital skills training continues to grow.
Imagine a Niger Delta where every young person has the
digital skills to compete globally. Where talented women
build thriving tech careers from their communities. Where
students learn with modern technology, not outdated tools.
Where local innovation solves local problems. Where
opportunity doesn't require leaving home.
This isn't a distant dream. This is Niger Delta Innovate.
We envision the Niger Delta as a leading digital literacy,
innovation, and entrepreneurship hub in Africa—a place
where technology creates opportunity for everyone,
regardless of background, gender, or location.

From classroom instruction to national competitions, from vocational repair skills to executive AI training — NDI's programmes reach every level of the technology education pathway.

We believe meaningful technology education requires more than access to a computer. It requires practical learning, supportive educators, resources and opportunities to apply new skills.

Students learn by building, experimenting and solving real problems.

We design programmes around the needs of the communities we serve.

We work to reduce barriers that prevent young people from accessing technology education.

The digital revolution isn't coming it's here. Communities investing in digital skills today will lead economically tomorrow. Those that delay will be permanently left behind.
Every day without action means talented young people miss opportunities. It means families stay trapped in poverty. It means our region falls further behind while others surge ahead.
But it also means opportunity. The opportunity to transform 10,000 lives. To position the Niger Delta as Africa's next tech hub. To prove what's possible when vision meets action.
